Vince DiPofi joined SSOE in 2000 and has more than 40 years of professional experience. He has risen through the ranks at the firm as a Business Leader, Corporate Director of Business Development, and Chief Strategy Officer, prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer. Throughout the years, he has been instrumental in developing numerous new accounts for SSOE and starting up the company’s operations in Mexico. Today, he has the company focused on a technology-driven strategic plan that is positioning SSOE as one of the fastest-growing firms in the country and a leading edge thought leader in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and design automation. DiPofi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo and is a licensed Professional Engineer in both Ohio and Michigan. Jay Martinez. is a Production Supervisor at Cintas located in Westland, MI. In that role, Jay leads daily operations in a high-volume production environment, focusing on developing people, improving processes, and creating a culture built on accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
Before joining Cintas, Jay spent four years at FedEx Ground where he was promoted from a Package Handler to Operations Manager. Throughout his career, he's had the opportunity to lead teams, mentor employees, solve operational challenges, and learn that every generation brings unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences to the workplace. Those experiences shaped his leadership philosophy and reinforced the importance of listening, adapting, and leading by example.
Jay earned his Bachelor of Arts in Media Communications from The University of Toledo and also served as a head wrestling coach. Jay learned that great leadership is about building trust, developing others, and helping people reach their full potential both on and off the mat.
Outside of work, Jay is an avid runner and is currently training for his first marathon. Running has taught Jay many of the same lessons that he applies in leadership: consistency, resilience, discipline, and the value of showing up every day ready to improve.
Amira Welch is a senior at Bowling Green State University where she is pursuing an architecture and environmental design degree. Her passion for design and creating, combined with a deep appreciation for art and science, played significatnt roles in her decision to pursue this challenging yet rewarding field. Dr. Stephanie L. Covington is a visionary leader with over 20 years of experience driving innovation in higher education, workforce development, and student success. She currently serves as the Commissioner of Educational Engagement and Workforce Development for the City of Toledo, where she leads transformative initiatives that connect education, career readiness, and community impact—particularly for underserved populations.
Her career spans executive roles across community colleges, public universities, and municipal government. From increasing student retention rates and securing over $10 million in grants, to leading regional equity initiatives and launching pioneering urban agriculture workforce programs, Dr. Covington is widely recognized for her ability to turn complex challenges into sustainable solutions. She has served as Vice Chancellor for the City Colleges of Chicago, Director of Retention at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Acting Chief Community Development Officer at Washtenaw Community College.
An accomplished educator, Dr. Covington has taught at institutions including Ohio University, Wright State University, and American College of Education, shaping future leaders through courses on student development, legal issues in higher education, and culturally responsive leadership.

Brad Rowe, SHRM-SCP, serves as Principal and Senior Vice President of People & Culture at SSOE Group. As a member of the firm’s Executive Management Team, Brad leads the integration of people, culture, workforce, and leadership strategies with SSOE’s broader business objectives. His responsibilities include SSOE’s Human Resources Center of Excellence, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development functions. He also serves on the firm’s Leadership and Ownership Strategies Committee, supporting leadership succession and the development of SSOE’s future Principals.
Brad has more than 25 years of experience across engineering operations, human resources, talent strategy, culture leadership, recruitment, and international business. Since joining SSOE in 2011, he has led major initiatives involving talent acquisition, organizational culture, diversity and inclusion, mergers and acquisitions, and international operations. He also helped establish and subsequently led the strategic growth of SSOE’s Mexico operation. Brad became an SSOE Principal in 2018 and Senior Vice President of People & Culture in 2022.
His external engagement includes service as past Board Chair of Junior Achievement of Northwestern Ohio, along with continued involvement in education, classroom mentoring, workforce development, and STEM-focused community partnerships.

Samuel Chang is the President and Co-founder of Midstory, a nonprofit media thinkhub that progresses the Midwest narrative through educational multimedia, solutions-oriented research and programming. He received his B.A. from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs, where he also earned a certificate in East Asian Studies. After graduation, Samuel was awarded the Puttkammer Fellowship through the Princeton Pace Center of Civic Engagement and spent the next two years in Cambridge, Massachusetts managing a prison education nonprofit that provided resources to incarcerated people across seven states. He returned home to Toledo in 2018 and has since devoted his efforts to uplifting this region’s stories. Samuel also serves on the board of Live Arts Toledo and the Ohioana Library.
Barbara Singer is the founder and CEO of Executive Core, where she leads a global team of professionals dedicated to reimagining how leaders grow. Anthropologist, Elizabeth K. Briody, Ph.D., has been involved in cultural-change efforts for 40 years—first at General Motors Research and later through her consulting practice, Cultural Keys where she conducted research and consulted with a broad array of industries. Among her books are Transforming Culture and The Cultural Dimension of Global Business (9th ed.). She is Founder and Co-Chair of the Anthropology Career Readiness Network. She also served as Secretary of the American Anthropological Association and President for the National Association for the Practice of Anthropology. In 2020, she received the Bronislaw Malinowski award for lifetime achievement from the Society for Applied Anthropology.

Linnie B. Willis is the retired Executive Director of the Lucas Metropolitan Housing Authority (LMHA) where she was employed for thirty-four years. She began as a Property Manager and served in various management and administrative positions prior to being selected as the Executive Director in 2007. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi.
During her tenure at LMHA she received professional certifications in Public Housing Occupancy, Public Housing Management, Human Resources and Director Professionalism, awarded by the National Association of Corporate Directors.
She sought to pave the way for African-Americans, and women in particular, in the professional and corporate world. Some notable achievements include: First female Executive Director of LMHA, First Director of Human Resources, First LMHA Executive Director elected to lead the State Organization of Housing Authorities (OHAC); First LMHA Executive Director to serve on the Board of Directors of the Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA); First African-American to serve as Board Chair of the Safety Council of Northwest Ohio; First female to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors for Housing Authority Insurance (HAI) headquartered in Cheshire, Connecticut; and First African-American to serve as Chair of the Board of Directors of Mercy Health Northern Region.
